Explore apps on Aztec

Aztec is more than infrastructure: there are apps you can use today. This page shows what kinds of apps exist and where to find the current list.

Third-party software

Most apps listed here are built by independent ecosystem teams, not by Aztec Labs or the Aztec Foundation. They are early-stage software on an Alpha network. Do your own research and start with small amounts.

Where to find apps​

The ecosystem moves fast, so the docs deliberately do not try to maintain a full list. Two sources stay current:

  • The Aztec ecosystem page - the official directory, filterable by category (wallets, bridges, DeFi, and more). When in doubt, open apps from here rather than from search results.
  • The awesome-aztec repo - a community-maintained list of projects and tools on GitHub.

What you can do today​

Hold and send privately​

Consumer wallets like Azguard (browser extension) let you hold assets and make private transfers. See Wallets for how Aztec wallets work and the Get started guide for setup steps.

Bridge assets from Ethereum​

Bridge apps move assets between Ethereum and Aztec. Shield bridges assets into Aztec, including converting $AZTEC into Fee Juice to pay transaction fees. Find the current list in the Bridges category of the ecosystem page, and read Bridging to understand deposits, withdrawals, and timing before your first transfer.

Trade and use DeFi​

Private trading is one of Aztec's headline use cases. For example, Nemi is a DEX where you can swap tokens without exposing your identity or positions.

Collect and play​

Projects like RavenHouse bring NFTs with private ownership to Aztec, and games are an active area of ecosystem development. Watch the ecosystem page and official Aztec channels for launches.

Follow the network​

Block explorers like Aztecscan let anyone inspect public network activity. Private transaction details (sender, recipient, amount) are not visible on explorers. You can confirm your transaction was included without revealing what it did.

Before you connect​

A few habits keep you safe when trying new apps:

  1. Open apps from the ecosystem page, not from ads or chat links.
  2. Check what a transaction does before approving it in your wallet.
  3. Use small amounts while apps and the network are in Alpha.
