Globals
- Convention for constant array lengths are mainly divided in 2 classes:
- FUNCTION CALL
- TRANSACTION
- GAS COSTS FOR AVM OPCODES They are used in TS and C++
- Domain separator for constrained message delivery log tags. Used by
crate::hash::compute_log_tag. - Domain separator for the sender-only secret folded into constrained-delivery nullifiers.
- Domain separator for event log tags. Used by
crate::hash::compute_log_tag. - Domain separator for the scalar that protects a handshake's shared secret from recipient forgery.
- Domain separator for the Inbox rolling sha256 chain over L1 to L2 message leaves.
- Domain separator for the message a recipient signs to authorize an interactive handshake, hashed via
crate::hash::poseidon2_hash_with_separatorand verified in-circuit by the handshake registry contract. - Domain separator for internal merkle-node hashing in append-only trees. Indexed trees use per-tree merkle separators instead (see below).
- Domain separator for L1 to L2 message nullifiers.
- Domain separator for non-interactive handshake log tags emitted by the handshake registry contract. Used by
crate::hash::compute_log_tag. - Domain separator for note hashes.
- Domain separator for nonces.
- Domain separator for note nullifiers.
- Domain separator for private log tags.
- Domain separator for the unsiloed protocol nullifier (
TxRequest::compute_protocol_nullifier_value). - Domain separator for L1 to L2 message secret hashes.
- Domain separator for account contract payloads.
- Domain separator for siloed note hashes.
- Domain separator for siloed nullifiers.
- Domain separator for the hash over the tx start marker, transaction fee, and effect category hashes.
- Domain separator shared by the effect category hashes, which occupy fixed positions in the categories hash.
- Domain separator for the internal nodes of the tx effects tree. Distinct from
DOM_SEP__TX_EFFECTS_TREE_LEAFso that a leaf can never be confused with an internal node. - Domain separator for a tx effects tree leaf, which binds a tx hash to its categories hash.
- Domain separator for unconstrained message delivery log tags. Used by
crate::hash::compute_log_tag. - Domain separator for unique note hashes.
- The number of variable-length effect categories committed by a tx effects tree leaf.
- A private log's ciphertext is all fields except the first one, which is called 'tag'. We call this 'ciphertext' because, unlike public logs, it is expected that private logs are encrypted (though this is not mandatory).
- The tx start marker, transaction fee, and one hash per effect category.
